For the enjoyment of pleasant lunches on the terrace, the Hotel Université has some suggestions for the best terrace restaurants in Paris, including the Galette Café, Les Antiquaires and Le Terminus. Plus, we simply must mention Paris Plage, an event combining sunshine, fun, activities and relaxation.

In the famous district of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, at the junction of the Rue de l'Université and the Rue de Saints-Pères, can be found the Galette Café. Easily accessible from the Hotel Université, this restaurant offers delicious Breton lunches. Don't miss the crêpes et les galettes, made from organic black wheat flour. On another day, after a visit to the Musée d'Orsay, you can enjoy a pleasant breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant Les Antiquaires, located at 13, Rue du Bac, in the 7th arrondissement. The name of the establishment comes from the delightful collection of vintage items you can find there. Enjoy the sunshine on the terrace while savouring the fine flavours of their excellent cuisine. We also recommend the restaurant Le Terminus, located between the Jardin des Tuileries and Saint-Germain-des-Prés. Here, in a friendly atmosphere, you can enjoy some traditional French delicacies, including foie gras, d’escargots and aligot de l’Aubrac.
Paris Plage 2015: don’t miss it!
A truly unusual and hugely enjoyable event, Paris Plage takes place every summer in the city to the delight of beach lovers and anyone looking for either relaxation or entertainment. In 2015, don’t miss the opportunity to take advantage of the 14th edition of this incredible temporary beach resort established right in the heart of a lively city. Running from July 20th to August 18th, Paris Plages will offer a wide selection of games and sports activities, such as kayaking, kayak-polo, pedal boating, caravelle, rowing and the roller tube. You can have fun with family or friends from 8:00 until midnight. Staying at the Hotel Université, you can quickly reach this fun-packed place of fine sand, parasols and sun-loungers.
